2026-10-29
Every Friday the best duelists in Paintballer meet in one bracket. It is free, it takes an evening, and anyone can win.
How to enter
- Open Compete in the game and choose Friday Night Paint.
- Sign up any time during the week.
- Check in before Friday 19:00 UTC. Check-in closes then and the bracket is drawn.
The bracket
Up to 64 players play a single-elimination bracket, seeded by ranked rating so the favourites meet late. If the field is not a power of two, the top seeds get a bye through the first round.
Matches
Each match is a 1v1 duel in a private room, no bots. Rounds run on a 12-minute schedule: when your match is ready, the game takes you to your room. Win and you move on; lose and you are out.
No-shows
If your opponent does not turn up for your match in time, you advance. If you do not turn up, they do. So stay near your screen on Friday night.
Tips
- Play a few Free for All matches first to warm up.
- Pick a marker you trust. The Bramble and the Slowhand are both great duel picks.
- Duels are about patience. The player who peeks second usually wins.
