Maps with floors, and machines in the sky

Three new multi-level maps (Deep Six, Last Stop, Hollowmere) plus Galleria, and a helicopter joins the tanks and boats on Lakeside.

Maps now go up and down. Stairs, tunnels, balconies, escalators and gates open new ways to fight.

  • Deep Six: a concrete compound with a war under it and blast doors on a timer.
  • Last Stop: a city street over a subway station. An express comes through every thirty seconds. Stay off the tracks.
  • Hollowmere: a haunted manor whose bookcase swings open onto a crypt passage at every witching.
  • Galleria: a three-floor mall round a skylit atrium, with escalators.
  • The Drizzler helicopter joins the tanks and boats on Lakeside. Vehicles now aim like rifles, with a turret camera and right-button zoom.
  • Bots find their way across floors, up stairs and through tunnels.

A referee and a caster for every match

Matches now have a voiced referee and a play-by-play caster, with subtitles and their own volume setting.

Every match now has a referee who calls the important moments and a caster who reacts to the action. Their voices were generated with ElevenLabs.

  • Subtitles for every line, on by default.
  • Separate switches for the referee and the caster, and a voice volume slider in Settings.
  • Music ducks under the voices so you never miss a call.
  • The voice code loads on your first match, so the game still starts instantly.

Bots that play like people

Bots now see, react and move more like human players, with personalities, reaction times and mistakes.

Every lobby is filled straight away, so bots matter. They now behave much more like people.

  • Bots only react to what they could actually see or hear, with human reaction times.
  • Each bot has a personality: some push, some hold angles, some flank.
  • Their aim drifts, overshoots and settles like a real hand on a mouse.
  • New players get a few gentler matches while they learn. Nobody else can tell.

Highlight clips you can share

Press K to clip your best moment. Every clip gets its own share page with a PLAY button.

Great shot? Press K and the last few seconds become a clip, cut and cast automatically, with music.

  • Share a link: every clip gets its own page that plays it, with a big PLAY button straight into the game.
  • Clips last 30 days, longer if people like them.
  • Anyone can report a clip, and reported clips are taken down.

Emotes and sprays

Dance, taunt and tag the walls: an emote wheel, sprays, walk-offs and a favourite emote for the podium.

Hold B to open the emote wheel and T to spray.

  • Eight wheel slots for emotes and sprays, set up in the Armory.
  • A favourite emote for the lobby and the podium, and an OUT walk-off.
  • Some are free, some come with levels, some are in the shop.

CREATE: make a map from a sentence

Describe a map in a sentence and CREATE builds it, checks it, playtests it with bots and lets you play it with friends.

CREATE is our AI map maker. Type an idea, like “a pirate cove at sunset”, and get a playable paintball map.

  • An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) designs the layout from your words.
  • Every map is checked for fairness and reachable spawns, then playtested by bots.
  • Play it alone, invite friends, or publish it to the community rotation.
  • Prompts are checked before anything is built, so maps stay kid-friendly.
